These two red-billed gulls were squabbling with an immature bird that seemed quite aggessive. The young bird left and one of the adults held the other in this grip for a couple of seconds before the young bird returned and the fight was all on again.
A few leucistic feathers like this bird has are useful for identifying and recognising the bird. In blackbirds it is not very uncommon.
